This website has lesson plans, activities, etc. for every curriculum, every grade level. There are resources by topic and grade level. A great one stop shop! There are comments on the resources by other teachers who have utilized them in their classroom.

Video length 30 seconds. It's a great tool for introducing information.
 
 
Comic Creator and Professor Garfield
Build your own comic strip. The teacher that shared this with me (Mrs. Steen) had her students practicing transitive verbs.......to possibilities are endless.
 
 
Glogster
this site allows students to create digital posters for free. Suggested use: Create this as an assignment on Haiku. As students submit weblinks of their glogs post them on your Haiku site for peer edit and review. This accommodates a several components of Common Core such as using technology, online publishing, peer editing and reviewing, and if you allow them to present their end product to the class you are even accommodating speaking and listening.

An online presentation software that allows students to create dynamic non-linear presentations.

The free printables are suitable for use in math centers, small group activities or whole-class settings.
